Who is this Princess? Earning ₹76 Crore Annually - Aswathy Hot Chips!

A woman's life completely changed after a robbery at her supermarket business that was earning ₹1 lakh monthly. This is the story of Ilavarasi, married at 18, whose father moved from Madurai to Kerala for work and started a snack business. After losing nearly ₹1 crore in the supermarket robbery, her husband wanted to return to their hometown, but Ilavarasi refused, saying she would only return after repaying all debts.
Starting again from a roadside stall selling vadai (earning ₹300 daily), she innovatively launched over 200 snack varieties in the food industry. Her snacks became favorites from middle-class consumers to top leaders like Kerala CM, PM Modi, and Rahul Gandhi. From that roadside stall, Aswathy Hot Chips & Restaurant has now grown to 5 outlets in Kerala with 150 employees, exporting to 15+ foreign countries.
When asked about her success secret, Mrs. Ilavarasi says: "Failure taught me everything. Always believe in your hard work - any woman can become a successful entrepreneur!"
