Tamil Food & Music Festival 2025 – A Celebration of Culture in London
On Saturday, 9th August 2025, Morden Hall in London will host the highly anticipated second edition of the Tamil Food & Music Festival, presented by Thamarai (UK), Ruby’s Catering, and Morden Hall.
Set in the scenic surroundings of an 18th-century Georgian estate within 125 acres of National Trust parkland, the festival invites guests to discover authentic Tamil cuisine, vibrant music, and cultural experiences that reflect the rich heritage of the global Tamil community.
What to Expect:
Live Tamil street food stations featuring regional specialties and diaspora-inspired dishes
Cocktail bars and refreshing beverages
Artisan market stalls with handmade goods and cultural items
Live entertainment including bands, DJs, and Tamil artists

From Doctor to Tamil Singing Sensation – Punya Selva Returns to London
From stethoscope to spotlight — Punya Selva’s journey is nothing short of inspiring.
We’re thrilled to welcome the incredibly talented Punya Selva to this year’s Tamil Food & Music Festival on Saturday, 9th August at the beautiful Morden Hall in London.
Born and raised in the UK, Punya grew up balancing music and academics — performing in local shows while pursuing a career in medicine. After becoming a doctor, she made a courageous leap: she left her medical path to follow her true passion — music.
Now based in Chennai, Punya is living her dream as a professional singer, with highlights including her rise as a Super Singer Season 7 finalist, and a recent performance at OVO Wembley Arena alongside Kollywood greats.
At Morden Hall, she’ll be performing live with Voice of Sugar and the incredible DrumShed collective, led by top British Tamil drummer Nish Raj.
Expect bold Tamil street food, non-stop music, and a celebration of identity, courage, and community.
