Join us in celebrating Tamil New Year 2025, also known as "Puthandu," a cherished festival marking the beginning of the Tamil calendar. Observed on April 14 each year, Puthandu is a time for families to come together, honor traditions, and look forward to a year filled with prosperity and growth.
This festive occasion is filled with age-old customs, including home decoration with vibrant "Kolam" (rangoli), ceremonial blessings, and traditional meals featuring seasonal specialties like "mango pachadi." It’s a day for new beginnings, symbolized by rituals meant to bring harmony, happiness, and success for the upcoming year.
Tamil communities across the globe will host events featuring music, dance, and cultural performances that celebrate Tamil heritage. Whether you’re celebrating with family, friends, or the global Tamil community, let’s welcome the New Year with joy, unity, and gratitude.
